Commissioner Provides Guidance During Public Health Emergency Including Noncancellation of Policies
On March 20, 2020, the Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner issued guidance during the public health emergency related to COVID-19, in part encouraging insurers to offer flexibility to insureds who are incurring economic hardship, including offering noncancellation periods, deferred premium payments, premium holidays and acceleration or waiver of underwriting requirements.
